Never Fade Away

Today I was out shopping with my mother-in-law and Gloria when the Cindy Lauper song "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" came on and brought a smile to my face. First, I remembered how Kevin would sing along and turn the music so loud, not caring who knew he loved the song. Then, his mom reminded me of how he requested that song for kareoke the night of our rehearsal dinner. Kevin, his dad, his mom, me, my sister and nieces all sang our hearts out to this song. What a silly and wonderful memory. Yet another moment I never want to fade away . . .
