Something Fishy
Ok, here is my rant for the day. I just saw a new commercial for Gorton Fish Fillets and they replaced the silver-haired old fisherman who looked like he probably had said three words in his entire life with a younger, more handsome guy who blathers on and on about how much I should love Gorton's Fish, etc. Why in the world do they have to make everything about sex appeal. Frankly, I never trust a handsome fisherman. If you are that handsome you just don't volunteer to spend all of your time out at sea. Unless you are gay, so perhaps this man is gay, but that doesn't really reach the target audience . . . thus my ranting.

I totally agree with you. But there is one exception to that theory. I give you the one and only handsome fisherman:

ok, so that must not have been true because the link didn't paste right. whatever. he wasn't even a real fisherman. Only part-time.
The link worked for me - no better way to show a love of fishing than to eat the raw fish right there on the boat. Lovely.
