Pumpkin Patch

Gloria and I have been busy as usual. I think that as much as I love fall, I also am dreading it this year. I feel like Kevin is a shadow in the corner of my eye during everything that I do. We met and fell in love in the fall, we both loved to do fall things together, and of course things got really intense last fall around and after Gloria's birth. I feel like I should be updating him on what we are doing and how much fun he would have had with us. I told my mother-in-law that I should get a card for my birthday this

year that says "Nothing says you are another year older than seeing your name on your headstone! Happy Birthday and Godspeed to your final resting place." Ahh, such morbid humor. Still, I feel a whole lot older than I am.
