Golden Child

I was watching the Golden Girls today (big surprise) and a particular line stood out to me. Blanche is all dolled up for a date and is trying to get Rose to compliment her. Rose is bumbling through her words when Dorothy decides to take over and tell Blanche, "No woman has ever looked better since the beginning of time then you do right now, and no one ever will." We should all have friends who can give us that line. In case you didn't know, Estelle Getty, who played "Sophia," passed away on Tuesday. So, I will be watching the Golden Girls-a-thon this weekend if anyone wants to join me. Oh, what a sad life I have, and yet these are the parts I love, sitting around watching sassy old women gabbing.
