That's the Hardest Part

I am living through Gloria's first "cry it out" moment. It is torture! She threw a major fit and was kicking and hitting me really hard, so I just put her on the ground to work it all out. My mom suggested that I put her in her crib where it is soft and safe, so that is where she is. I absolutely HATE hearing her cry, but she won't let me pick her up or comfort her. This is so very hard.

Today I bought a new car. It is a 1998 Buick Regal and I love it. I have to say I have had a soft spot for Buick's my whole life; I even learned to drive on a Buick LeSabre. So, even though it isn't the flashiest car in the world I think it is perfect for me. It has a nice big engine (4.8L), a nice big trunk for strollers and groceries, and a nice sound system. The major downfall of this vehicle is that it has hubcaps. Oh, how I loathe hubcaps. Still, they can easily be replaced by rims in the spring. Yeah for new cars. I guess it is hard for me to own a car more than two years. I have restless car syndrome :-)

Ok, I must go and rescue Gloria. I cannot distract myself any longer. I am still ever hopeful that this new year will be fantastic. Let's all just try to settle down and stay positive.
