Yesterday I went with my in-laws to the Henry Lakehouse on Loon Lake. It was a fun-filled sunny day and most of the Henry's showed up to share it with us. Gloria wore her two-piece Janie and Jack bathing suit and got to squish her toes in the sand; I got to try water-sking for the first time. My cousin, Greg, and my brother-in-law, Jesse talked me into trying it. I must admit I was very terrible, and only made it up one time for about a second, however I was incredibly proud for trying. Jesse was in rare form, dancing around with a frog towel on his head. Susan tried kissing him, but he did not transform into a prince. Hey, sometimes princes are overrated.
Today is going to be a wonderful day too. It started with going to Costco with my dad and Lil' G. We had hotdogs and a very berry sundae. There is nothing like wandering through Costco with my dad, discussing all of the great deals and trying samples of artichoke dip. Then, he bought steaks to barbecue later today. So, I am feeling optimistic today and thankful that God gives me these good days to help get me through the bad days.
